User Guide: Dashboard & Analytics

This guide explains how to use your personalised Dashboard in Kandid.pro to track your job search progress, gain insights, and make data-driven decisions.

The Benefit: Why Track Your Job Search Analytics?

A successful job search is a numbers game. By tracking your activity and outcomes, you can move from "guessing" to "knowing" what works. Your dashboard helps you:

  • Visualise Your Progress: See your entire job search activity in one place. Visual charts and metrics help you understand your momentum and stay motivated.
  • Identify Bottlenecks: Are you sending out lots of applications but not getting interviews? The dashboard makes it easy to see where your funnel is breaking down so you can adjust your strategy.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Instead of just trying different things, you can see which activities lead to the best results. Is your networking paying off? Are your tailored CVs landing more interviews? The data will tell you.
  • Stay Organised: The dashboard acts as your daily command centre, showing you upcoming events, follow-up reminders, and high-priority tasks.

How to Use the Dashboard

Your dashboard is the default page you see when you log in. It is composed of tiles that you choose and arrange. You can also create multiple named dashboards — for example, one focused on applications and another on networking.

There are 18 tiles across six categories. All tiles can be toggled on or off and sized as full-width or half-width.

Managing Multiple Dashboards

You can create separate dashboards for different purposes — for example, a daily "At a Glance" dashboard and a deeper "Analytics" dashboard.

Switching Between Dashboards

A dashboard selector badge is displayed at the top of the dashboard page. Click it to open a dropdown showing all your dashboards. Click any name to switch immediately. Your last-selected dashboard is remembered across sessions.

  1. Click the "Customise Dashboard" button to open the customisation dialogue.
  2. Click "+ New Dashboard".
  3. Enter a name (up to 50 characters) and confirm.
  4. The new dashboard opens empty, ready for you to add tiles.

  2. Click "Rename" next to the current dashboard name.
  3. Enter the new name and confirm.

Deleting a Dashboard

Customising Your Dashboard Layout

Your dashboard layout is fully customisable. Each dashboard has its own independent layout.

  2. The left panel shows your current layout. The right panel (the Palette) shows all available tiles not yet on your dashboard.
  3. Filter the Palette: Use the category dropdown above the palette to filter tiles by category (Overview, Applications, Leads & Networking, Contacts, Goals & Tasks, Calendar). This makes it easier to find what you're looking for.
  4. Add a tile: Drag it from the palette onto an empty spot in the layout grid.
  5. Remove a tile: Click the on the tile in the layout preview.
  6. Rearrange tiles: Drag and drop tiles within the layout grid.
  7. Swap tiles: Drag a palette tile directly onto an existing tile to replace it.
  8. Toggle width: Click the expand/collapse icon on a tile to switch it between full-width and half-width.

Your layout is saved automatically as you make changes — there is no separate Save button required.
