Five clear stages, one view
The progress bar breaks every application down into five sequential steps:
1. Aligning Skills
Review the job requirements and identify gaps against your profile. Open the Matching tab to see your AI match score, review missing skills, and update your career profile to close any gaps — then re-run the analysis before generating documents.
2. Generate Docs
Create a tailored resume and cover letter, then run a quality check before downloading.
3. Apply
Download your documents, submit the application externally, and mark it as Applied.
4. Interviews
Manage interview rounds, add interviewers, import their LinkedIn profiles, generate interview questions, and prepare with AI-powered coaching.
5. Outcomes
Record the result, log lessons learnt, and close the loop on the application.
Smart and automatic
The bar knows where you are without you telling it. Steps complete automatically based on your activity — a document generated, an interview round created, an outcome recorded. When you've applied to a role, the first three steps mark themselves complete.
Guided, not just tracked
Clicking the active step opens a panel showing exactly what to do next — a concise checklist for that stage. One-click actions let you jump straight to the relevant tab (Matching, Documents, Interviews, Outcomes) or advance the application status (Applied, Shortlisted) without hunting through menus. The panel closes on its own after a few seconds, or stays open while you're reading it.
Outcomes that matter
Once an application reaches its conclusion, the bar steps aside. A Hired outcome replaces the bar with a congratulatory banner. A Rejected outcome shows a quiet acknowledgement instead.
